Jef followed a training LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® for Positive Psychology in Copenhagen and discovered that the methodology is also very well applicable to concretize the conditions for team flow with team members.

Why this training?
Creating optimal collaborative climates in teams requires an exploratory approach in certain situations. This may be because of complexity, ambiguity, the creativity needed or the desired safety. In this training you will learn how to generate a Teamflow Climate as a facilitator using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and Handstorm™.
About Handstorm™
Handstorm is a scientifically based method by Dr. Frans van Gassel that you can use to consult effectively while (re)designing your concept, product or process. By working according to the Handstorm method, your rich experiences are made visible not only through words, but also by actually acting and reflecting. Actingcan be done for example through gestures, drawing, constructing, and thus also Lego Serious Play. You will be introduced to the fifteen principles of the Handstorm method and how they can be applied in the team.
About LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
The Lego Serious Play method is a communicative and problem-solving process in which participants are presented with different issues that are explored in increasing depth. Using Lego building pieces, each participant builds his or her own answer to the issue. Based on this, information is shared with each other, problem-solving discussions and decisions are made.
About Teamflow
Teamflow is the moment when each team member is fully absorbed in a joint activity. Teamflow can significantly increase a team's productivity, performance and capabilities. Flow Concepts has demonstrated through research that there are several elements that can be facilitated in teams and organizations with which teamflow can be cultivated. During this training you will learn what teamflow is and how to create a teamflow climate within a professional organization. Teamflow has been scientifically conceptualized by Dr. Jef van den Hout and further emprically researched within the context of sports, music and work.
The investment of this training will be €1,950.00 excluding VAT for subsequent editions. This includes materials, coffee, tea and soft drinks. It is possible to invoice the investment VAT free because Flow Concepts is CRKBO registered.
Because this is the first time for Flow Concepts they are charging a price of €1250,00 excluding VAT for this pilot edition, also including materials, coffee, tea and soft drinks.
Who provides this training?
The training is provided by Dirk Schutselaars and Jef van den Hout. Dirk teaches 'creative thinking' and 'personal leadership' at the Fonytys Hogeschool in Tilburg. He is also active as a coach and certified facilitator for LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. Jef received his PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology on the conceptualization and application of team flow theory and then founded Flow Concepts to bring this thinking to practice.
