This multidisciplinary team of Master students from Eindhoven University of Technology and Radboud University with its great interest in cognitive training and its application in real life situations, won the first prize.

Their website states, "Our main focus is on using cognitive training in the world of professional soccer to improve ingame performance."

And its mission statement reads, "We believe we can help you build a culture of support, challenge and engagement in your team, both in their professional and personal lives. By providing personalized and specialized programs to train cognitive skills such as working memory, spatial awareness, reaction time and many others, we give people the tools to be better in chaotic/uncertain situations. This is how we add value to people personally and to their organizations professionally."

In addition to the audience prize of 1,500 euros, the team will also receive the Talent Award from Twice Eindhoven. This consists of a financial compensation of 1,000 euros and workplaces for two people for six months in startup hub Alpha.

Congratulations, you have doubly earned it! And welcome to Alpha.

Solutions to questions of the future
Students at TU/e are prepared during their student years to solve societal challenges. They are provided with a solid foundation regarding interdisciplinary skills, sustainability and entrepreneurial thinking. Crucial to this is the link with practice and linking academic skills with expertise from business, the public sector and civil society organizations. By continuously connecting with companies and governments at home and abroad, TU/e is able to combine high-quality knowledge with its students to design solutions to the questions of the future.

Goal contest
The two main goals of the contest are talent development and stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship. Interaction between students and the business community plays an important role in achieving these goals. During the contest students work intensively together with coaches from private, public, social and academic sectors to develop their ideas into realistic and well-founded concepts. The TU/e Contest allows students to think even more about their interests and passions, linking them to companies and organizations that operate in this field of interest.
